LAMB SKIN

The beautiful lambskins from Gotland sheep are something very special. The sheep breed originally originated from the Swedish island of Gotland, but now the sheep are bred in both Sweden and Denmark.

Gotland lambskins are characterized by the silky, natural curls - they can be both short-haired and long-haired, and the lambskins are known to be some of the best skins in the world. They are warm to sit on and extremely durable and can be used both indoors on the sofa, in the armchair or on the floor and outdoors in a garden chair or e.g. around the fire...

You can have a lambskin for 25 years or longer.

Gotland lambskins are not dyed, which means that each skin is completely unique, and they come in all shades of grey.

Good advice for washing and caring for Gotland lambskins:

- Vacuum and shake the skin regularly (preferably 2-3 times a month).

- If absolutely necessary, you can carefully wash off a stain with a small amount of wool soap on a damp cloth. Be careful that the leather side does not get wet, as this will make the leather hard and you will lose the delicious soft feeling of the lambskin.

- Never machine wash it.
