The enamel consists of two layers of porcelain that are laid as a surface on steel, resulting in a shiny and durable material. The small enamel dish will not break if you drop it, but there may be small chips in the enamel, which you just have to learn to care for. The steel will oxidize, but the enamel will remain safe to use for food, despite any rejections.

Cleaning: The dish can be cleaned in the dishwasher, but it may lose some of its shine, so we recommend and prefer to grab the dish brush and take it by hand.
